Questionnaire Analysis
We carried out a Questionnaire to gather ideas for our horror production. Because we wanted to find out a mix of qualitative and quantitative data we carried out a questionnaire that included both open ended and closed questions. From the questionnaire we discovered that, out of the people we asked the majority were aged 16-20. From this we found that the majority of people asked were influenced most by trailers as the type of advertising that encourages people to view horror films. Also out of the people asked nearly half prefer gore as their favourite type of horror genre. From the research carried out it nearly three quarters of those asked are encouraged to see the film by the storyline, over anything else. Surprisingly from our research we discovered that almost two thirds of people we asked visit the cinema yearly. Over half of the people we asked are most scared in horror films by the jumpy scenes.
